• Suggested format for Community Town Halls

  The grassroots movement is alive and well and we need to help people come together to re-group and stay energized! We are hoping to help provide a forum for our communities, new leaders, coalition organizations to share their collective thoughts and feedback about what worked and what did not work all around the state, and funnel it all into one shared document of collective wisdom to use going forward.

  Marriage Equality USA is interested in partnering with other organizations to co-facilitate a series of regional Community Town Halls - as an opportunity to process and figure out what went right,
  what went wrong and where we go from here. I've attached our proposed agenda and a one-pager on how to get these organized. We can send a script out for the facilitators that will have more information on each of the agenda items. We have tentative plans/MEUSA local chapter leaders
  available and interested in hosting these Town Halls for the following locations (below). However, we really need people to help - especially people with experience in moderating and facilitating groups.

  If you are interested in joining the Town Hall planning committee for these areas, please contact the leaders identified below. We will post the Town Halls as they come on-line with time, date and location to our website at www.marriageequality.org starting tomorrow. If you don't see a Town Hall getting organized in your area - feel free to send us your contact information and we'll add you as the Town Hall leader for that area:
